Madras High Court Issue legal Notice to Nani Hit

3 Movie Over Plagiarism Allegations.

 

The Madras High Court has issued a legal Notice to Nani and The Team of Hit Movie.

The HC issues legal notice that the third case after a scriptwriter Vimalavelan, aka Vimal, alleged that the film story was copied from him. Vimalavelan aka vimal that the copy of registered with the South Indian film writers associations since on 4 August 2025. Vimal now seeks payment for damages and compensation of 20% of the film’s profits. The HC gave the HIT 3 team until 7 July to respond.

The script writer also wrote in his plea that once Hit 3 was released, he watched it in theatres and was shocked to see that it was his film with minor changes.Vimal had previously sent a legal notice to Nani and the team of HIT 3 asking them to cease and desist from committing infringement of his intellectual property, but there was no response.

HIT 3 emerges as Nani’s third biggest grosser beating Hi Nanna, eyes second spot before first week close. Nani’s HIT 3, also starring Srinidhi Shetty and directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu, has become a box office success, earning Rs 58.55 crore in India within its first six days.
The Hit 3 Movie was released on 1 May 2025 And box office collection is Rupees 119.25 crore worldwide.
